Network Film Fest

Great news!! A new cable channel dedicated to short films called MiniMoive has picked up Speed Datin' and are going to show it on their network. Minimovie not only broadcasts in the U.S. but in Europe also so Speed Datin' will not only be shown here in the U.S. but all throughout Europe too!

Working

Chris, now living in Los Angeles, has secured a job at Craig Murray Productions, Home Entertainment Branch. The Production Company is responsible for such trailers as Transformers, Thank You for Smoking, Little Miss Sunshine, and the hit t.v. show Arrested Development. Working as a production assistant at CMP is the first of many leaps and bounds that will find him directing major motion pictures in the future.

Weekly Update!

Graduation

Congratulations are in order for Chris upon graduating from Michigan State University. Chris graduated May 4th 2007 with a degree in Film Studies and hopes to solidify a prominent position in Los Angeles with a notable production company. While at MSU he was a part of the MSU Film Club where he directed, wrote, and produced many films, some of which are posted in the featured films section and are listed in his biography. As of right now Chris is living in East Lansing, but will be moving to Los Angeles by the end of June to start making a name for himself in the film world.

Acceptance

On April 18th John was accepted into the Vancouver Film School for Film Production. The program begins August 27th and will run for 1 year where he will learn film theory, narrative structure, script analysis, budgeting & scheduling, location management, editing aesthetics, location sound, and art direction just to highlight some of the curriculum. He has applied for a scholarship but has not received any word. The school specializes in animation, acting, digital design, entertainment business management, film production, sound design, and makeup.
